The Clerical Assistant/Dispatcher is a key member of the Lahaina Shores operations team who assists and is responsible for the completion of assigned tasks for the Hotel Manager, Maintenance Manager, and the Executive Housekeeper .

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Assistant, the Clerical Assistant will assist the Hotel Manager with verbal and written correspondences with the Classic Rental Program owners, maintain the rental program owner files, and reservation entry of non-program guests. For the Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments, the Clerical Assistant will coordinate and dispatch and track work orders, process purchase orders and invoices, and perform monthly inventories. This person also completes other tasks assigned by the individual Department Managers.

The ideal candidate is a high school or college/business school graduate with exceptional communication skills, a natural aptitude for guest service, a positive and upbeat attitude, and the ability to interact effectively and courteously with Owners, Guests, Vendors and other Employees. Candidates with previous hotel or condominium resort experience and will be given preference.
